Why Ionpure Continuous Electrodeionization? Our Continuous Electrodeionization (CEDI) products are the most advanced generation of Ion Exchange technology. CEDI is a chemical-free process that uses ion exchange resins and electricity to produce ultrapure deionized water. Our products are environmentally friendly, operate with continuous production, and have extremely low operating costs when compared to chemically regenerated ion exchange technology. Ionpure currently has three lines of electrodeionization modules: the VNX, the LX and the MX series. We also offer supplementary equipment ranging from DC Power Controllers to Piping Adapters to fit your system requirements.

Ionpure continuous electrodeionization modules utilize ion exchange resins primarily as a bridge to allow electric current to pass through the electrodeionization cell. This allows us to operate the modules without any brine injection or concentrate recycle. Additionally, the ion exchange resins are used to 'polish' the purified water stream by removing minute quantities of silica, carbon dioxide and other contaminants. The ion exchange resins are continually being regenerated by the dissociated hydrogen and hydroxyl ions that have been created by the electric current. Electrodeionization utilizes no chemical regenerants and creates no hazardous wastes.

Why Ionpure Tubular Microfiltration?
Our new Tubular Micro Filters (TMF) provide an excellent barrier to the passage of solids. Commonly used as pretreatment to Reverse Osmosis or post treatment to Precipitation Chemistry, TMF modules are designed for extremely high solids loading and can operate with up to 5 weight percent solids. The superior strength of the PVDF membrane / PE (or PVDF composite) substrate allows higher operating and backpulse pressures for higher flux and reduced system footprint. TMF can be used in Water Recycling, Process Water Treatment, and Metals Precipitation / Recovery. We currently offer various tube and pore sizes available to fit your specific needs. Ionpure TMF would be a great addition to your water purification system for the removal of particles.
