The LX-HI modules are the perfect choice for mid-size flowrate CEDI systems (up to 100 gpm (22 m3/h) and where MICROBIAL CONTROL is required. LX-HI modules are used primarily used in the pharmaceutical, biotech and beverage industries where further polishing of RO permeate water is needed. For validated systems, two pass RO system may not meet USP water standards.

Ionpure LX-HI modules are the only CEDI products in the market that are guaranteed to perform up to 156 sanitization cycles of 180 deg F / 80 deg C water! In addition to the leak free guarantee and superior performance, this is the module of choice when hot water santization is needed!

In the LX module, the spacers are stacked up in a conventional plate-and-frame arrangement, with alternating product and reject compartments (see Exploded Views below). This configuration gives much more even distribution of both fluid flow and current flow than some other configurations, such as spiral wound. This is very important for both performance and module longevity.
